Tony Poulson

Tony has been a published artist since his early days as a child, and would you believe, actually failed out of art school at his university, despite earning national recognition for his political cartoons from the Society of Professional Journalists. That never stopped him from his passion however.

His current, ongoing “Hand Over the Hero” series has been a fan favorite at art festivals and comic cons around the country for the past 6 years, with booking over 50 shows a year. Tony believes artwork should not only provide memorable visuals but also leave you with a smile on your face – and in his case, a laugh, as you can see with his twist on your favorite characters in their surrendered poses. Tony also devotes his time to his fans by listening and sharing stories and can usually be seen jumping over his table to snag a quick selfie with a fan.
